Welcome to the Hospital School!

The mission of the UNC Hospital School is to provide educational services that meet the unique needs of children and adolescents at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. The Hospital School is one of the schools in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools district and is located within the UNC Hospitals complex. In addition to State and Hospital funding, private support for the school is also provided by the Addie Armfield Education Endowment Fund, established with the Medical Foundation of NC, Inc.

What's Up?

  • Water Towers
Today in class we learned a little more about how water
moves from a water tower to the taps in our homes.
The students then had a turn to create their own water
     towers!

  • Makerspace creations

We gave our kiddos task cards with
a scenario on them. They had an
    abundance of materials to choose
from to create something to complete it.
